Spring String Ensemble - Youth (Mon 7PM)

Service Description

Spring session: Monday 3/31/25 to 5/19/25 Time: 7:00 to 8:00 pm Fee: $360 for 8 weeks Age: 6-12 yrs Group Classes Policies: 1. Refunds will not be issued 5 calendar days or less before the start of the class. 2. Withdrawals requested 6 or more calendar days prior to the first meeting class will incur a 15% processing fee. 3. No makeup, refund, or credit for any missed classes, if student is absent from class. An elementary string ensemble for young musicians learning to play string instruments such as the violin, viola, cello, and double bass. This group will perform simple pieces that focus on developing fundamental skills like intonation, rhythm, and ensemble playing. The repertoire may include easy arrangements of classical pieces, folk tunes, and specially composed pieces for beginner string groups. These ensembles provide a supportive environment for students to gain confidence, musicality, and teamwork skills as they begin their musical journey. Requirement- For students in 2nd to 5th grade. Students need to have at least one year of private lessons. Students need to take private lessons in addition to participating in this string ensemble.
